David Rodan and Paul Stewart slipped on the funny bowling shoes to get involved with the crowd at Planet Teal’s third and final Bowling evening for 2007.
August 23rd saw 100 Planet Teal members receive a juicy red apple when they arrived at the Woodville bowling lanes. After tucking into their apples the members tried their luck and tried to improve their skills and collect a couple of strikes! As a bonus, the members that weren’t having much luck with their bowling were able to use their game tokens on the arcade games.
There was a stack of prizes given out on the night, but that didn’t get David Rodan as excited as he was when he saw the amount of strikes and spares being recorded in each lane.
‘I can’t believe how good these kids are’ Rodan told Planet Teal staff. ‘They are outdoing me- I can’t even get a strike with the bumpers on!’
Paul Stewart had done a bit more bowling more practice in his time, and was experienced enough to get some strikes on the night, but he too was very impressed with what he saw.
Both players can’t wait until next year’s bowling events, and are going to start practising regularly in their free time.
