Why him?
Kane Cornes had perhaps his best match for the Power in the win over the formerly second placed Hawks. Kane had an equal club high and career-high 38 disposals and kicked three goals. This is the most goals he’s kicked in a match since booting four in round 15, 2005.
How’s he been going?
Kane has had another great season, collecting lots of the ball and stopping some of the games most dangerous players. As well as performing on the field, Kane has also been mentoring last week’s Planet Teal player of the week and NAB Rising Star nominee, Travis Boak.
Now & Then!
This weekend the Power travels to Skilled Stadium to play top of the table Geelong. Last time the two sides met, the Cats were 56 point winners and Kane was the Planet Teal player of the week with 36 disposals on a tough day for Port. The Cats’ midfield has been strong all year, so it’ll be another big game for Kane.
